STRATEGIC ADVISORY FOR MULTI-HYPHENATES

You can see where you want to be but not the path to get there.

I help ambitious founders, leaders, and creators—often doing it all at once—find their way. Together, we'll bring order to the overload: what to focus on, in what order, what to drop, and when to slow down.

Who This Is For.

You've got a full-time job and a side hustle and need to know what to prioritise.

You're working on several big projects and ideas that don't neatly fit together.

You're a creator who's founded your own company and overwhelmed by everything you need to do.

There's no single type. You might be one of these—or all three at once.

You struggle to know what to prioritise, when to bring in help, where to focus—and when to rest. You have friends and family, but no one with a mind for business to bounce ideas off, no one to verbalise your plans to. You need someone who can see the big picture when you're mired in the detail.

What I Do.

I've spent most of my career building plans and strategies for businesses. Now I do that with women, one on one.

Together, we'll sit and go through each line of your to-do list, your idea dump—what's necessary, what's not, what can fold into something else, and what's a good idea at the wrong time. We'll work through your positioning and your differentiator.

I clear the path, sifting dozens of ideas into a plan you can act on. A lot of women pour everything into the business and nothing into their personal brand, or don't know where to start—I can be the bridge that gives you direction there.

And sometimes the job is telling you to slow down. When you're this ambitious, you need someone to give you permission to pause, who understands the context of timing and place.

How much is a clear path forward worth to you?

Let's find out together.

How We Work Together.

This is 1:1, in-person or online, and it's ongoing. We start with a three-month commitment—enough time to get past the surface, build real trust, and see your decisions actually play out, rather than a single session that feels good and changes nothing.

We meet regularly, and how often depends on what your life needs—from monthly to more frequent. Sessions aren't rushed: a focused hour or two, or a full morning or afternoon, with room to think out loud, go down the list, and work things through properly.

About.

Mishar Briones laughing on Rue Saint Claude, Paris

When I first decided to start my own advisory, I had such a clear vision in mind. I'd worked with so many companies, and they all had one thing in common: no strong brand. I was always asked to create content from nothing, so I wanted Tala to fill the gap: build the brand foundations they'd need to grow and scale. And when I finally accomplished that, I realised the work wasn't fulfilling. It took an off-the-cuff remark from someone who reminded me that my career path was non-linear, non-traditional, and for much of it, non-corporate—so why did I think fitting a corporate mould would satisfy me?

My name is Mishar, and I'm a half-Indian, half-Filipino Canadian who's been based in Paris for over 11 years. I've spent over 16 years in brand and content and led teams on PR, social media, and communications. I've worked in-house, agency-side, freelancing and consulting—from start-ups to multinationals, across spirits, SaaS, hospitality, real estate, and professional services, in both B2B and B2C. Now, I currently lecture at Toulouse Business School on International Sales and xCulture. Spending time across so many fields, wearing so many hats, lets me see how the pieces of a business fit together.

That's why Tala is the perfect name for my advisory—in its old form and now this new one. It means "bright star" in Tagalog—a nod to my Filipino heritage and the role I want to play: your guiding light when the path ahead feels like a maze.

Podcast · Not Everything is for Everyone

Not Everything is for Everyone is my podcast. I bring on people from all over to talk about work, cultural differences, life in France, and the trends everyone copies that they probably shouldn't. It's where I think out loud with people, and the quickest way to get a feel for how I see things before we ever talk.

For Teams.

The same clarity work, for a group. I run advisory sessions and workshops with teams on brand and communication—getting everyone aligned on who you are, what makes you different, and how to say it consistently. Shaped around what the team needs, from a single half-day to an ongoing series.

"Launching a spirits brand in a crowded market, I knew we couldn't just figure out marketing as we go. Working with Mishar and Tala gave us that foundation—positioning, messaging, and go-to-market before we spent anything. We didn't waste time or budget on the trial-and-error phase most brands go through. And we've kept working with Tala; the strategic foundations gave us the confidence to launch."

If you're carrying more than you can handle and getting lost in the weeds, let's talk it through—over coffee in Paris, or online wherever you are. No pitch, just 30 minutes to walk through what's on your plate and see whether I'm the right person to help.
